Stomach vs. back: the clock is ticking for ARDS survival

NCT ID NCT06854627

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to position patients with severe lung failure (ARDS) to help them survive. It will compare keeping patients on their stomachs for more than 48 hours at a time versus turning them on their stomachs for 16-24 hours each day. Researchers will track 780 patients for 90 days to see which timing leads to better survival and fewer complications.
