Summary
This study tested whether a specific mix of two probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus and Limosilolactobacillus reuteri) could shorten the time children aged 1 to 6 years old had diarrhea from an infection. 145 children with mild dehydration were given the probiotics or a placebo. Researchers measured how long diarrhea lasted and tracked gut bacteria changes.
