Summary
This study tests whether taking a probiotic called LP299V twice daily can improve iron levels in pregnant women at risk for iron deficiency anemia. Researchers will enroll 250 women and follow them from early pregnancy through labor, measuring blood iron, gut health, and baby outcomes. The goal is to find a safe, low-cost way to prevent iron deficiency and its complications.
