This study aimed to see if taking probiotics alongside standard treatment could lower blood sugar and improve lung function in adults aged 50-85 with both type 2 diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The trial was a small, early-stage study with 30 participants, but it was terminated before completion. The results are not yet available.
