Summary
This study tests whether taking probiotics (friendly bacteria) can improve gut and vaginal health in 161 women with advanced or recurrent ovarian cancer who are receiving platinum chemotherapy. Researchers will compare changes in the microbiome, quality of life, and symptoms between those taking probiotics and those taking a placebo. The goal is to see if probiotics can help manage side effects and improve outcomes during treatment.
