Summary
This study aims to see if taking a probiotic supplement changes the community of bacteria and fungi in the gut and breast tissue of people with breast cancer. Researchers will compare 100 participants, with half taking the probiotic and half taking a placebo, to measure changes in specific biomarkers and quality of life. The main goal is to gather knowledge about how microbes relate to breast cancer, which could inform future prevention or treatment strategies.
