Gut check for the brain: probiotic trial launches for Alzheimer's

NCT ID NCT07413744

Summary

This study aims to see if taking an oral probiotic supplement is safe and practical for people who have early Alzheimer's disease or are at risk for it. Researchers will enroll 40 participants, some with mild memory problems and some without, to take the supplement for up to a year. The main goal is to check for side effects and see if people can stick with the study plan, while also gathering early clues about how gut health might be connected to brain health.
