First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a specific probiotic blend alongside healthy lifestyle changes can improve liver health in people with Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD), a common fatty liver condition. About 80 adults with signs of liver damage will take the probiotic or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in liver stiffness, fat levels, and heart-related risk factors.
