This study looked at whether adding a probiotic (VSL#3) to standard treatment helps children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). 51 children aged 1 to 7 with specific types of JIA took part. Researchers measured disease activity and changes in gut bacteria to see if the probiotic improved symptoms or reduced flare-ups.
