Summary
This study is testing whether a daily probiotic supplement called Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) can help people with alcohol use disorder drink less and improve their liver health. Over six months, 60 participants will take either the probiotic or a placebo pill. Researchers will measure changes in drinking habits, cravings, and liver function to see if the probiotic is effective.
