NCT ID NCT07200518
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking a special probiotic (OMNi-BiOTiC® Hetox) can improve healing, reduce pain, and lower complications after neurosurgery for back or neck problems. About 110 adults having spine surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the probiotic or a placebo for 3 months. The main goal is to see if the probiotic leads to better daily function and less disability.
