Summary

This study tests whether a probiotic supplement called Probacine can protect the gut and reduce organ damage in 500 adults after heart surgery. Researchers believe that changing the gut microbiome may improve recovery. Participants will take Probacine before and after surgery, and the study will measure gut injury and overall organ function.
