Mind over anxiety: new thought training shows promise for social fears

Summary
This study tested a computer-based thought training technique in 54 university students with social anxiety. One group learned to replace negative thoughts with positive or neutral ones, while a control group responded freely. The goal was to see if this training could reduce negative core beliefs and anxiety symptoms. Results will help design larger future studies.
