New study tracks lupus drug levels in breast milk

Summary

This study looks at how much of the lupus drug anifrolumab passes into breast milk and into the baby's blood. It will enroll 16 nursing mothers with lupus who are already taking the drug. The goal is to gather safety information, not to test a new treatment.
