New study aims to stop suicide in LGBTQ+ youth via telehealth

Summary
This study aims to reduce suicide among sexual and gender diverse young adults aged 18-24. It compares two brief suicide prevention programs adapted for this group, delivered via telehealth in primary care. About 1,485 participants from multiple cities will be randomly assigned to one of the two programs. The main goal is to see which program better reduces suicidal thoughts.
