Summary

This study tests a digital decision-support tool to help doctors follow guidelines that prevent postoperative delirium (sudden confusion after surgery) in patients aged 70 and older. About 845 participants will be monitored for up to 5 days after elective surgery to see if the tool improves care and reduces delirium. The goal is to make recovery safer and less confusing for older adults.
