Summary
This study aims to prevent opioid and other substance use disorders in homeless youth, a group at very high risk. Researchers are testing different combinations of counseling and practical support services to see which work best. They will follow 300 young people aged 14-24 for two years to measure the long-term impact on drug use and mental health.
