Breaking the cycle: new program aims to stop obesity from passing to babies

NCT ID NCT05674799

Summary

This study is testing an enhanced online lifestyle program for young women with overweight or obesity who are planning to become pregnant. The goal is to see if improving health before conception can reduce the risks of obesity and diabetes for both the mother during pregnancy and her future baby. Researchers will compare the online program to standard health information by tracking weight, blood sugar, and the baby's body fat at birth.
