First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether taking polyunsaturated fatty acid supplements can prevent nerve damage in the hands and feet of people with colorectal cancer who receive oxaliplatin chemotherapy after surgery. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the supplement or a placebo. The main goal is to see if fewer people develop nerve damage 8 months after starting treatment.
