First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at three different types of breathing masks used to help premature babies breathe. The goal is to see which mask causes the fewest nose injuries. About 75 preterm infants will be randomly assigned to one of three mask types, and their noses will be checked every 12 hours for 4 days. The results could help reduce skin damage in fragile newborns.
