Tailored program aims to protect memory in older latinos with HIV

NCT ID NCT04791709

Summary

This study tested a culturally tailored health promotion program, led by a community health worker, to see if it could help prevent memory and thinking problems in Latino adults aged 50 and older who are living with HIV. The program aimed to improve overall health through activities that might support brain function. Researchers measured changes in memory tests, physical activity, mood, and certain blood markers to see if the program was helpful.
