Antibiotic rinse during kidney stone surgery aims to stop recurrence
NCT ID NCT07393711
Summary
This study is testing if rinsing the kidney with an antibiotic solution during stone removal surgery can help prevent the stones from growing back. It focuses on adults whose kidney stones are linked to infections. Researchers will compare patients who receive the rinse to those who get standard surgery alone to see if it reduces future stones and infections.
