Summary

This study tested a program that combines managing chronic diseases, reviewing medications, diet advice, physical exercise, and social support to prevent frailty in older adults who are already showing early signs of weakness. 232 people aged 70 or older took part, with half receiving the program and half getting usual care. The goal was to see if the program could help maintain muscle mass, strength, and daily function.
