New study aims to stop diabetic foot ulcers before they start

Summary
This study tests different strategies to prevent foot ulcers in people with type-2 diabetes. It includes 150 adults who are either at mild-to-moderate risk of developing a foot ulcer or have had one that healed at least 6 months ago. Researchers will track blood markers of inflammation and review medical history to see which approaches work best.
