Summary
This study looks at whether adding reminders to electronic medical records helps doctors provide better care for people with pre-diabetes and prevents them from developing diabetes. About 6000 adults aged 21 to 59 with pre-diabetes will take part. Some clinics will use the reminders, while others will not. Researchers will track blood tests, referrals, and diabetes rates over two years.
