New program aims to prevent depression in parents of babies with down syndrome

Summary
This study is testing a program called Mothers and Babies adapted for parents of infants with Down syndrome (MBDS). The goal is to prevent depression by helping parents cope with grief and build social support. About 72 expectant and new parents (including fathers and nonbinary parents) will take part. The program is delivered in a group format online.
