Can diet, exercise, and socializing stop dementia before it starts?

NCT ID NCT06488430

Summary

This study aimed to see if a combined lifestyle program could help prevent memory decline in older adults at risk for dementia. Researchers in Kerala, India, first measured how common mild memory problems were in 481 adults aged 50-65. They then tested a one-month program with 20 participants that included nutrition advice, physical activity, brain exercises, and social activities to see if people could stick to it and what helped or hindered them.
