Summary

This study looked at whether two drugs, hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, could prevent COVID-19 infection in hospital workers who were exposed to the virus. 122 hospital staff without COVID-19 took one of the drugs or a placebo for 40 days. The main goal was to see if fewer people got infected while taking the medication.
