Cooling gloves and socks may shield cancer patients from Chemotherapy's numbness and pain

NCT ID NCT05606068

Summary

This study is testing a new cooling system for hands and feet to see if it can prevent nerve damage caused by a common chemotherapy drug. About 80 cancer patients receiving paclitaxel will wear special cooling wraps during their treatment cycles. Researchers want to find out if this cooling method is safe and if it can reduce symptoms like numbness, tingling, and pain in the limbs.
