New drug aims to stop deadly clots in pancreatic cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing if a drug called Kinisoquin™ can prevent dangerous blood clots in people with advanced pancreatic cancer who are starting chemotherapy. About 480 patients will receive either the study drug or a placebo for 16 weeks to see which group has fewer clots. The goal is to reduce a common and serious complication of this cancer to help patients stay safer during treatment.
