New drug tested to stop deadly clots after knee surgery
NCT ID NCT06454630
Summary
This study tested an experimental drug, REGN7508, to see if it could safely prevent dangerous blood clots (venous thromboembolism) in adults after elective knee replacement surgery. It involved 179 participants and directly compared the new drug to an existing standard treatment. The main goal was to see if the new drug was more effective at preventing clots while also checking for side effects.
