Summary
This study tested a special vacuum dressing called Prevena on groin wounds after vascular surgery. The goal was to see if it could prevent wound complications like infection, reopening, or fluid buildup in high-risk patients. 140 adults having femoral incisions for vascular repair took part. The dressing was applied during surgery and compared to standard care.
