Veterans' chronic pain targeted by new team approach
NCT ID NCT06427356
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a team of five pain specialists—including doctors, psychologists, pharmacists, dietitians, and physical therapists—can help veterans with chronic pain feel better and get more out of life. About 150 veterans will either join the program right away or wait six months. The program includes a planning session, monthly coaching calls, and a follow-up visit. Researchers will measure pain levels and how much pain interferes with daily activities.
