First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week combination of four drugs (bedaquiline, clofazimine, pyrazinamide, and delamanid) can treat drug-susceptible tuberculosis faster than the standard 6-month regimen. About 94 adults with active TB in the lungs will be randomly assigned to either the short course or standard therapy. The main goal is to see if the short course clears the bacteria from sputum more quickly and safely.
