First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study followed 240 young men who have sex with men for two years to find better ways to help them stay on HIV PrEP (medication that prevents HIV) and avoid sexually transmitted infections. Participants used a smartphone app to track risks and received counseling if they thought about stopping PrEP. The goal was to reduce HIV and STI rates by supporting men in choosing and sticking with the prevention method that works best for them.
