Magnet vs. wire: which breast cancer marker costs less and works better?
NCT ID NCT06906601
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways doctors mark non-palpable breast tumors before surgery: a magnetic clip or a thin wire. The goal is to see which method is more cost-effective and works better for patients. About 772 women with early-stage breast cancer will take part, and researchers will track costs, how well the tumor is removed, and patient satisfaction for up to six months after surgery.
