Dialysis before surgery: does timing matter?
NCT ID NCT07339202
First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having dialysis on the same day as surgery is better than not having it for people with end-stage kidney disease. About 30 adults will be randomly assigned to one of two schedules. Researchers will check if the approach is safe and practical by tracking complications and how smoothly the surgery goes.
