Summary
This study compares two screening methods—ultrasound and a shorter MRI—to see which finds liver cancer earlier in people with cirrhosis. The goal is to catch cancer at a stage where it can be treated more effectively, potentially reducing deaths from liver cancer. About 4,700 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two screening methods and followed over time.
