First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study examines whether extreme environmental and security-related conditions, such as war or natural disasters, increase the risk of premature birth or low birth weight. Researchers will analyze data from 100,000 infants born at a single medical center since 1995. The goal is to better understand how maternal stress from such events may impact pregnancy outcomes.
