Tiny patients, big question: can we better measure pain in premature infants?

NCT ID NCT06150586

Summary

This study aimed to understand how much pain and stress premature babies experience during a specific breathing treatment called LISA. Researchers tested if a skin sensor could reliably measure this pain alongside standard nurse assessments. The goal was to gather better information to help doctors decide which babies might need pain medication during the procedure.
