Tiny blood clues could predict danger for World's tiniest babies
NCT ID NCT07273643
Summary
This study aims to understand if tiny particles in a premature baby's umbilical cord blood can serve as early warning signs for severe health problems. Researchers will collect cord blood from 30 infants born before 28 weeks and analyze these particles to see if they correlate with complications like brain bleeding or lung injury. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help doctors identify and monitor high-risk infants sooner.
