Summary

This study looked at 297 adults who had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital and were brought to the emergency room. Researchers wanted to see if placing a breathing tube before arriving at the hospital helped more people survive for 28 days and have better brain function. They also checked what factors, like bystander CPR and heart rhythm, affected survival.
