Race against time: which blood mix saves bleeding patients best?
NCT ID NCT04879485
Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to give blood to people with severe bleeding before they reach the hospital. It compared three methods: giving a mix of plasma and red blood cells, giving only red blood cells, or giving only plasma. The goal was to see which method most quickly stabilizes a patient's condition and helps control the bleeding.
