Prehab before transplant: a boost for older myeloma patients?
NCT ID NCT05642884
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a prehabilitation (prehab) program before stem cell transplant can help older adults (60+) with multiple myeloma maintain or improve their physical function. Thirty participants will be randomly assigned to either the prehab program or a control group. The main goal is to see if the program is feasible and acceptable, with secondary focus on changes in physical function at transplant and 12 weeks later.
