First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a program of resistance training and nutritional counseling, started before a stem cell transplant, can improve quality of life for blood cancer patients. 110 adults scheduled for a transplant will be randomly assigned to either the prehabilitation program or usual care. The main goal is to see if the program leads to better overall well-being.
