Getting stronger before surgery: can home exercises improve recovery for frail patients?
NCT ID NCT06359652
Summary
This study is testing a home-based exercise and education program designed to help physically frail older adults get stronger before they undergo lung surgery. The goal is to see if this 'prehab' program is practical to run and if it helps patients recover better with fewer complications and shorter hospital stays. Researchers will follow about 100 participants to measure their function and health outcomes before and after surgery.
