Pre-Surgery workouts aim to speed recovery after cervical cancer operation

NCT ID NCT07398313

Summary

This small study tested whether a special exercise program before surgery could help women recover better after a hysterectomy for cervical cancer. Thirty-four women were split into two groups: one did a structured 4-week workout plan targeting pelvic strength and fitness before surgery, while the other did general exercises. The goal was to see if the targeted program led to better pelvic muscle strength, daily function, and a shorter hospital stay after the operation.
