Summary

This study tested whether phone-based health coaching could help pregnant women manage their weight gain during pregnancy and prevent obesity after giving birth. Researchers enrolled 534 women from diverse backgrounds who were overweight or obese early in pregnancy. The program provided regular phone coaching, online tools, and mobile tracking to support healthy eating and activity habits throughout pregnancy and after delivery.
