Could your hip flexibility predict your delivery? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07478159

Summary

This study aims to understand if a pregnant person's muscle strength and flexibility in their hips, core, and pelvic floor are linked to how they give birth and their recovery. Researchers will follow 376 pregnant people from late pregnancy until 12 weeks after delivery, measuring their muscles and tracking birth outcomes. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help guide exercises or therapies during pregnancy to support healthier births and recoveries.
