Finding the right iron dose: what do Moms-to-Be prefer?
NCT ID NCT06069869
Summary
This study aims to find out which amount of iron in prenatal multivitamins pregnant women in Tanzania find most acceptable and cause the fewest side effects. About 156 pregnant women will try three different vitamin formulas containing 30mg, 45mg, or 60mg of iron to see which one they like best and tolerate well. The goal is to gather information to help design better prenatal supplements for future use.
